Configure, build, test, and maintain Epic Hospital Billing (HB) functionality to support revenue cycle operations and ensure accurate billing workflows.
Collaborate with revenue cycle, finance, and operational stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into Epic HB system build and enhancements.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, manage service tickets, and support end users to ensure system stability and efficient billing operations.
Participate in Epic upgrades, quarterly releases, and system optimization efforts, including testing, validation, and documentation of changes.
Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, and training materials while supporting cross-team initiatives with PB, revenue integrity, and reporting teams
Epic PB Admin and PB Claims Certification required
Serve as the liaison between end users, operational leaders, IT teams, and vendors to design, build, optimize, and support assigned Epic applications
Analyze business requirements, workflows, and operational needs to develop and implement medium to high-complexity application solutions with minimal supervision
Lead and support project activities including system analysis, build, testing, documentation, end-user education, and go-live support
Partner with the Service Desk to troubleshoot issues, resolve service requests, and provide ongoing application optimization and maintenance
Provide high-quality application support while leveraging healthcare systems expertise, strong communication skills, and collaborative teamwork
Epic RTE certification and eMPA experience is required
Lead build, testing (unit, integrated, UAT), documentation, and go-live support while ensuring alignment with Epic standards and organizational policies
Serve as the primary analyst supporting Epic Patient Access workflows, build, optimization, and operational support

Responsibilities:
5+ years supporting enterprise Revenue Cycle applications, with 2+ years in a supervisory or team leadership role
Strong hands-on experience with Epic Revenue Cycle modules (e.g., Resolute Professional Billing, Hospital Billing, Claims, Charge Capture, Prelude)
Proven success leading revenue cycle system upgrades, integrated testing cycles, and large-scale optimization initiatives
Experience implementing Agile or hybrid delivery models, including backlog management using Azure DevOps or similar tools
Deep understanding of revenue cycle workflows including registration, charge capture, coding, billing, claims management, reimbursement, and denial management
