Lead and coordinate Epic technical cutover activities including infrastructure readiness, data migration, user access, and system validation
Oversee infrastructure build and validation of production servers, databases, networks, Citrix, and VPN access to ensure environment readiness
Manage final data migration processes, including patient records, schedules, and user accounts; validate data integrity and establish contingency plans
Ensure successful validation of all HL7 interfaces and external system integrations (labs, radiology, pharmacy, billing, etc.), with monitoring dashboards in place
Direct user access setup including role-based security templates, provisioning, and testing of key clinical and operational roles
Execute cutover weekend activities: system lockdown, final data load, interface activation, smoke testing of core Epic modules, and validation of user logins
Establish and manage Command Center operations with Epic, IT, and operational leaders; define escalation paths and oversee real-time issue tracking
Coordinate communication plans including go-live announcements, downtime procedures, and backout/rollback strategies
Proficient in Microbiology and laboratory workflows
Experience supporting medium–high complexity laboratory applications in large healthcare systems, ensuring regulatory compliance
Skilled in analysis, testing, documentation, training, implementation, and optimization of lab information systems to enhance efficiency, adoption, and patient safety
Minimum 5 years of Epic Willow Inpatient experiencewith ongoing support and maintenance preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, IT, or related field
Strong knowledge of healthcare workflows and ability to support medium-to-high complexity clinical applications across acute and non-acute settings
Experience providing application support, incident/change/problem management, and collaborating with clinical and technical teams following ITIL processes
