Lead mid-to-back-end revenue cycle operations with deep expertise in Meditech (Magic, Expanse, 6.0), with working knowledge of Epic hospital billing (HB) workflows
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs); interpret operational and financial data to drive process improvements and optimize billing performance
Oversee revenue cycle workstreams during large-scale insourcing and system migration initiatives, ensuring data integrity and continuity of operations
Act as a strategic leader and client-facing partner, contributing to solution design, operational strategy, and (for FTE hires) participation in RFPs and pursuits
Manage and mentor teams while collaborating cross-functionally with IT, operations, and executive stakeholders to deliver results in fast-paced, high-growth environments
Provide interim leadership for Health Information Management (HIM) operations, ensuring continuity of services, regulatory compliance, and team performance
Oversee MEDITECH HIM workflows including chart completion, coding, transcription, release of information, and deficiency management
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission, and CMS requirements, maintaining data integrity, privacy, and audit readiness
Lead and support HIM staff, including staffing, performance management, process improvement, and training initiatives
Collaborate with clinical, revenue cycle, and IT teams to optimize MEDITECH functionality, improve documentation quality, and support operational goals
Provide strategic and operational leadership for Epic Patient Access and Revenue Cycle applications, overseeing design, implementation, optimization, and support
Lead and develop application teams, including hiring, performance management, and succession planning
Own Epic system lifecycle (build, testing, upgrades) and drive large-scale implementations and optimization initiatives
Partner with Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, Finance, HIM, Compliance, and Clinical leaders to align systems with business, compliance, and financial goals
Ensure end-to-end revenue cycle functionality across scheduling, registration, billing, claims, denials, and revenue integrity workflows
