Partner with physical therapy operations and hospital stakeholders to design and configure an optimized Epic build package incorporating standardized best practices
Translate operational workflows across Ambulatory, Inpatient, Scheduling, and Billing into Epic configuration specifications
Develop reusable deployment packages using Epic import/export tools, build templates, and configuration migration processes
Conduct configuration assessments and recommend scalable, efficient build strategies for multi-site hospital implementations
Document detailed configuration settings, deployment guides, and resource requirements for internal and external use
Collaborate with IT, clinical, and revenue cycle teams to ensure alignment, validation, and readiness for Epic deployment
Epic Data Courier certification and Epic Change Management experience required
5+ years of Epic experience required
Experience supporting, configuring, and optimizing Epic environments with a strong understanding of data migration, environment management, and change control processes
Skilled in troubleshooting, workflow analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and effective communication and documentation
Design, build, testing, implementation, and ongoing optimization of the Epic Fertility/Embryology module
Analyze, design, configure, and maintain Epic Embryology workflows, dictionaries, and interfaces to support fertility and reproductive medicine programs.
Collaborate with embryologists, lab staff, and physicians to gather requirements, document specifications, and optimize processes
Develop and execute comprehensive test scripts for new build, upgrades, and environment refreshes
Participate in implementation and upgrade projects, including validation, training, and go-live support
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CAP, CLIA, and other fertility-specific regulations in all system configurations
Provide advanced troubleshooting and end-user support for embryology workflows and related applications
Collaborate with IT, lab, and operational teams to ensure data integrity, accurate reporting, and optimal system performance
