Healthcare Cloud Security Engineer

Location: Camden, NJ

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Responsibilities:

• Healthcare experience and CISSP certification required
• Lead cloud security engineering across Azure and multi-cloud environments, supporting cloud migration and enforcement of NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and CIS frameworks
• Implement and optimize cloud security controls, IAM (Entra ID), CSPM tools (e.g., Wiz), SIEM/EDR, automation pipelines, and vulnerability management
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and MSP partners to deploy and maintain security technologies across identity, network, endpoint, and cloud infrastructure
• Drive continuous improvement of detection and response by validating alerts, triaging escalations, tuning security tools, and developing runbooks and incident response procedures
• Provide architectural guidance in DevSecOps, cloud governance, system hardening, and security requirements for new infrastructure and application designs
• Act as a senior SME, supporting audits and compliance, contributing to risk remediation, and mentoring junior InfoSec engineers
