The Information Services Developer II is primarily responsible for designing, developing, and implementing systems based on requirements.

Supporting additional apps outside of Cornerstone and expected to support ERP implementation
Responsible for maintaining an in-depth technical understanding of the vendor applications supported, including requirements for upgrades, patching and interfaced integration with other systems
Working closely with functional and technical team members and vendors to support the day to day operation of these applications
Participating with functional areas on the analysis and requirements, design and testing of enhancements and customizations
Evaluating upgrades and releasing notes for assigned applications and working with functional areas to insure that changes are fully tested before implementation into production
Troubleshooting and resolving reported system and application problems in the test and production environments

The Laboratory Informaticist maintains a patient-centric and end-user centric focus, while assisting with analysis, testing, documentation, education, implementation and optimization activities to enhance technology adoption and efficiencies to improve patient safety.

Systems and Tools Analysis: Assess existing systems and tools used for analytics, providing detailed system diagrams of the current state
Future State Recommendations: Develop and present recommendations for future state
enhancements, including team composition, staffing levels, and the integration of key

various County programs, including the Quality Improvement Program (QIP)
A minimum of 10 years of experience in Healthcare Analytics
Extensive experience with Epic systems
Proven experience at the Manager or Director level within a Health System
Familiarity with California’s Quality Improvement Program (QIP) is desirable
Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Epic Clarity/Caboodle/Cogito is essential
