Project Manager for Application Rationalization

Responsibilities:
Conduct stakeholder interviews across healthcare departments to assess application usage, value, and redundancies.
Analyze the complete application inventory (300+ systems), including business and clinical software.
Review licensing, maintenance, and support costs for each application.
Assess application alignment with data retention, legal, compliance, and risk frameworks.
Evaluate system dependencies, technical architecture, and infrastructure footprint (e.g., servers, storage).
Build and maintain an accurate, searchable application catalog with metadata on ownership, cost, and utilization.
Identify opportunities for consolidation, standardization, or decommissioning.
Develop a roadmap and action plan for secure decommissioning, archival, and data migration. Prepare and deliver executive-ready summaries and recommendations
Responsible for assisting in specific areas of IT including full life cycle management, from analysis and design to deployment and maintenance of technology solutions and platforms
In addition, you will contribute toward identifying opportunities with the goal of reducing manual efforts, supporting the growth of the organization, promoting patient and user experience, and helping create innovative solutions with operations
You will help foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders, promote the consistent use of available tools, techniques, workflows, and platforms, and perform administrative tasks as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (Preferred)
Certifications specific to portfolio of responsibility or required within 90 days of hire
Five (5) or more years of experience relevant to assigned portfolio in a healthcare setting
The Senior Claims Analyst works with operations and provider relations/contracting departments analyzing claims activity to identify and quantify claim adjudication errors, identify claims trends to identify opportunities for improvement, assist in provider contract negotiations, and review contract pricing setup in the claims system
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, health insurance, finance, or related field is preferred
Minimum of two years’ experience in health insurance claims analysis or related experience required
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, science, or business field with strong technical computer knowledge and experience OR bachelor’s degree in computer science with strong healthcare experience.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare or business setting.
Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office and SQL.
Previous experience developing in Power BI. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Epic EMR system (preferred)
Experience with Epic Slicer Dicer Reporting (preferred)
