Requires a minimum of four (4) years in Operations Analysis, Management Engineering, Operations management, or a related analytical field in health care or management consulting directed toward process improvement
Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, or a relevant technical/ management field
Projects include but are not limited to the areas of; Infrastructure, Applications, EPIC EMR System, Security, and Process governance
Serves as a project manager on major complex projects, initiatives and/or implementation projects
Oversees assigned projects including monitoring project performance and compliance with applicable specifications, rules, regulations and laws Responsible for the preparation of initial and final documentation necessary for delivery to customer, systems and programming
Insures quality and timeliness of work performed and the final products Develop organizational tools such as project plans, timelines, meeting agendas, conceptual models and presentations to document and communicate project goals and needs, engage stakeholders and define deadlines and accountabilities
Establishes schedules and methods for achieving project goals and objectives
Extensive experience in healthcare IT and/or public sector project management.
5 or more years verifiable experience leading complex projects within healthcare domain.
Proven track record in vendor management, collaboration with IT staff and clinicians.
Knowledge of analysis methods to estimate project cost, resources, time and deliverables.
Demonstrated experience in use of traditional project management tools and communication as well as detailed documentation of decisions and other key project artifacts.
Demonstrated experience in managing project scope, timeline and budget.
Ability to track project tasks to execution.
Work with department managers to identify resources.
Ability to effectively facilitate meetings.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
