Baccalaureate degree, in computer science, business or clinical related field required
Minimum 10 years relevant work experience with 5 years of previous staff management experience required
Experience in running a large project from a Project Management Office perspective or managing a large project team in a large health system environment preferred
Knowledge and ability to manage and operate extremely large-scale (greater than 100,000 customers) technology infrastructures and execute strategic planning objectives
Advanced, conceptual knowledge of technologies within all areas of the organization.
Strategic business acumen and understanding of organization strategy, with an ability to design information systems to fulfill that strategy.
Knowledge of current systems analysis and design methodologies, as well as IT and healthcare operations.
Experience with UKG Dimensions or Oracle is a plus
Supporting additional apps outside of Cornerstone and expected to support ERP implementation
Responsible for maintaining an in-depth technical understanding of the vendor applications supported, including requirements for upgrades, patching and interfaced integration with other systems
Working closely with functional and technical team members and vendors to support the day to day operation of these applications
Participating with functional areas on the analysis and requirements, design and testing of enhancements and customizations
Evaluating upgrades and releasing notes for assigned applications and working with functional areas to insure that changes are fully tested before implementation into production
Troubleshooting and resolving reported system and application problems in the test and production environments
Resolution may require coordinating functional and technical resources Technical Administrator, Interfaces, Operations, and System Managers, Networking etc. in the investigation, analysis and solution
Director Information Technology- Remote- Patient Access
The Director Information Services for Epic Revenue Cycle Applications will assist with creating business strategies and proposing implementation methods for content within the designated programs.
The Director’s primary responsibility will be to ensure alignment with the enterprise change management strategy requirements to ensure safety within Epic systems.
The Director will drive continual process improvement in the delivery of application services throughout client and apply strong knowledge of healthcare operations, proven communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and management skills to guide design, development, and deployment of critical systems.
The Director will maintain knowledge of current and emerging trends in healthcare technology, actively seeking information to stay abreast of best practices, application solutions and services, striving to incorporate innovation in a practical, cost-effective manner.
Facilitates change management processes to ensure stability and safety of Epic Revenue Cycle Applications.
Responsible for oversight and review of all Epic changes related to Patient Access
Monitors, manages, and reports operational updates to the System Director to support efficient and effective planning for resource utilization and prioritization of the body of work for which IS is accountable and responsible.
Provide oversight in the analysis and evaluation of current systems and procedures as well as the development of system design and workflow modifications for optimization of processes.
Successfully manages a full workload across multiple projects, while leading a team.
