Angela Maris

Senior Vice President of Solutions Delivery

Angela is passionate about advancing patient care through technology and providing the best client support to do so. As Senior Vice President of Solutions Delivery at Mediant Health Resources Angela leads our sales team. She works directly with clients to understand their project needs and then provide the best consultants to make their projects successful. With more than a decade as a healthcare sales specialist she has worked in the medical device sector with health systems and group purchasing organizations before being dedicated to healthcare IT the last several years. Angela understands the healthcare landscape and the administrative structure of healthcare organizations and assists clients in clarifying their IT needs and objectives. Once the objectives of a project are identified she helps define the resources needed and works with her network and the Mediant recruiting team to provide the top consultants in their subject matter to fulfill the client’s project. She is always accessible to her clients and assures projects run smoothly and efficiently.  Angela is proud to be a woman in healthcare IT and leads our League of Women Series, a partnership with CHIME to celebrate, educate and inspire women in healthcare IT. This initiative is working to encourage women to enter the healthcare IT field and support the advancement to leadership roles of those already in the field. She is active in the industry as well, having served on the board for the GIC HIMSS Chapter and is a member of the steering committee for the American Heart Association STEM Goes Red. When not working Angela is honored to be the mother of two strong and amazing daughters and loves spending time with them and her husband.

Amy McDonald

Director of Client Services

Amy has over a decade of expertise at Mediant, where she excels in day-to-day billing, project management, and overall engagement support. She has successfully partnered with many of the nation’s leading providers, ensuring subject matter experts are placed in the right roles at the right time. Amy’s responsibilities extend beyond project coordination—she conducts in-depth research, prepares contracts, and manages diverse client needs. Her dedication to improving efficiency and refining training processes consistently drives better outcomes for both clients and internal teams. With extensive experience in client relationship management, technical project oversight, and recruiting and vetting technical consultants, Amy is a trusted leader who seamlessly blends strategy with execution. When not assisting clients, Amy can be found spending time with her active family, supporting her head football coach husband at his games or her daughters at dance team competitions and volleyball matches.

Mariella Melidis

Director of Client Services

With a background in history and management, Mariella brings an analytical and strategic approach to healthcare IT, always focused on people and outcomes. Her role is about aligning talent with teams because the success of every project depends on having the right people in place to move it forward. She has a passion for problem solving and relationship building which led her to healthcare IT, where every project is an opportunity to support organizations through change and strengthen the teams behind patient care.

 

Outside of work, Mariella aims for balance—but when your fiancé plays minor league baseball, and half the year revolves around schedules and game stats, balance is relative. At the end of the day, it all comes down to strategy—whether on the field or in healthcare IT.

Nikki Gray

Director of Client Services

With over a decade of experience in the healthcare and recruitment sectors, Nikki Gray brings a unique blend of expertise to her role as Director of Client Services. Nikki has a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and the administrative framework that drives healthcare organizations. Her ability to help clients clarify their IT needs and objectives has been instrumental in shaping the success of numerous projects. Once the objectives are identified, Nikki works diligently to define the resources needed to meet those goals and deliver results.

 

Prior to her current role, Nikki spent 10 years in recruiting, where she developed a keen understanding of client needs and a talent for building strong, lasting relationships. Known for her strong communication, leadership, and innovative problem-solving skills, Nikki is committed to driving success for both clients and her team. Outside of work, Nikki is a devoted soccer mom, juggling the busy schedules of her children who participate in sports. She is passionate about supporting parents as they advocate for their children’s needs. Nikki is also an avid lover of art, enjoys spending time with her two rescued dogs, Rosie and Gemma, and shares a fulfilling life with her husband, Steve.

Kristian Pehar

Director of Client Services

Kristian is originally from Chicago, Illinois, where he spent his formative years playing hockey, learning the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. He has over four years of experience as a recruiter, during which he honed his skills in identifying top talent and building meaningful relationships. Throughout his recruiting career, he developed a deep passion for healthcare IT, recognizing the importance of innovation in improving patient care and healthcare systems. This passion has driven him to transition into a sales development role, where he is excited to combine his industry expertise with his enthusiasm for driving results. When Kristian is not working you can find him watching football cheering for his hometown Chicago Bears of course, or he also likes to snow ski when he can.
