Epic Beaker Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:

• Design, document, implement and test software/application solutions
• Monitor and manage the timely resolution/closure of assigned tickets
• Collaborates with vendors on issues/upgrades for assigned portfolio
• Lead small to medium sized projects following PMO defined processes
• Prepare reports and presentations on project/team activities and results as requested.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements/priorities and translate/document them into build specifications
• Serve as an Epic Subject Matter Expert (SME), primary support contact & bridge communication between users and Epic technical support
• Work closely with the laboratory department to optimize current workflows & implement new ones
• Be part of a team that supports several Epic modules and other integrated applications & technologies
• Work closely with lab techs, doctors and other hospital staff, both clinical and non-clinical users, to write reports and optimize workflows
• Recommend, contribute and lead process improvement efforts
• Serve as a resource for other team members including mentoring junior team members.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and innovations in relevant technologies
