Interim Controller

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities:

• Oversee core financial functions and internal controls
• Maintain compliance with audits and regulatory requirements
• Support month-end and year-end close
• Assist in transitioning duties to a future full-time Controller
• Act as a liaison between finance leadership and operational stakeholders
• Proven experience as a Controller or senior financial leader in a healthcare or nonprofit setting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, audit practices, and financial systems
• Ability to start immediately and work independently
• Experience working through organizational transitions
