Job Description

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 8 months

Responsibilities:

  • Security, Technical, Data Model skills/Knowledge – Adept detail oriented focused technology leader, certified in Information Security (CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, SANS, etc.) with a program management/process/service management focus who has an appreciation for information security service delivery within complex, enterprise, healthcare environments.  Can understand the technical details of the security technologies and the environment to make decisions and drive initiatives.  Ability to drive and provide oversight of multiple Information Security projects and programs with executive level visibility.   Ensure execution of deliverables tied to key security priorities and controls
  • Enterprise Experience – Effective at securing stakeholder buy-in around challenging IT and business problems.   Healthcare experience a strong plus.  Thinking outside the box and developing proactive technical solutions and support
  • Strategic outlook – Ability to develop and lead strategic service delivery roadmaps
  • Executive communication skills – Thoughtful communicator capable of effectively engaging direct reports, peripheral staff, peers, clinicians and leadership. Perceives communication channels as bridges that lead to better solutions. Capable of having nuanced communications with all audiences. Trusted partner & relationship builder with a genuine ability to forge transparent, effective and collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Guided by Enterprise Architecture– Ability to assure that technical solutions are both reliable and effective and tie into enterprise architectural standards. Keen appreciation for standards, and security regulations and framework.  Familiar with NIST Cybersecurity framework, HITRUST, HIPAA and PCI frameworks and compliance standards
  • Operational awareness – Ability to assure that IS endpoint assets, infrastructure and security solutions are both reliable and effective. Keen appreciation for lights on services and requirements
  • Performance, Optimization and Metrics:   Understands the need for continuous improvement, benchmarking and using metrics to measure results.  Data driven decision philosophy.  Also, transparent in discussing status
  • Hands-on manager and mentor – Vested interest in staff development and coaching to enhance the abilities of individuals as well as the overall capabilities of the IS function to more effectively serve the needs of clinical, research and business partners across the organization
  • Crisis/Disaster Leadership – ability to proactively plan, deploy and lead measures that allow IS to seamlessly respond, react and resolve service incidents
  • Organizational Change management – appreciates how to meaningfully and successfully steward new initiatives in a manner that secures input and buy-in from key constituents
