IT Project Manager

Location: Hartford, CT

Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities: 

• Eight (8) years’ experience directing large scale systems projects through all phases of the project life cycle with at least three (3) years’ experience in the areas as specified
• PMP Certification and Epic experience preferred
• Extensive knowledge of hardware/software technologies used within applicable area, programming languages, database technologies, screen design and navigation, system interfaces, portal technology and system development tools, network and communication protocols 
• Strong project management skills 
• Extensive knowledge of project management principles and practices 
• Leadership and management ability to manage and motivate a diverse group within a matrix reporting relationship through lengthy, complex development effort 
• Interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively planning and control skills 
• Negotiation skills and experience 
• Vendor management experience
