Responsibilities:
- Previous experience implementing and managing large, complex, enterprise class solutions in a global environment
- At least eight years experience performing system administration and engineering for one of the following systems or equivalent years in managing the majority of technologies: Red Hat Linux, UNIX, Windows, IBM, HDS, Citrix, Infrastructure as a service/ Cloud and Virtualization technologies (Xen, Vmware, Microsoft Server)
- Leads a team that plans, forecasts and implements new technologies of high complexity
- Builds and supervises a team of engineers
- Identifies work trends and adjusts personnel to meet demand
- Provides internal consulting, technical guidance, information, and support to application support teams, IS infrastructure, management, and users
- Develops and enforces system engineering standards
- Effectively documents and communicates designs, results, reports, and presentations
- Manages changing priorities and appropriately allocates project resources and assesses staffing needs
- Demonstrates advanced proficiency in creating detailed documentation and project plans
- Reviews, develops, and documents system level operational and engineering concepts and mission statements
- Coaches and mentors Level III staff and peers with differing detailed knowledge
- Performs all duties related to the annual review process
- Is responsible for scheduling, assigning work, reviewing the technical adequacy of work products, meeting cost and schedule for assigned group and interface coordination with other groups
