HR Technology Principal Analyst (Lawson) Consultant

Job Description

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 1 Year


  • Subject Matter Expert and key point of contact for client support of HR Technology deployment including Core HR, Talent Management, Workforce Reporting / Analytics and Integrations to other applications Leads the analysis, design, configuration, qualification, documentation and roll-out of expanded HR Technology capabilities to meet enterprise requirements Management of HR Technology projects or initiatives

Application & User Support:

  • Very strong working knowledge of  HR Technology applications (may vary based on assignments) Demonstrates the ability to diagnose, document and resolve complex HR application issues from a functional, administrative and operational perspective
  • Exhibits a consistently high level of customer service, collaboration and consensus building skills while working with internal clients and/or stakeholders
  • Plans and administers end user training including New Leader
  • Orientation and Business Partner Training; also aides employee and management end users as needed  Supports ‘downstream’ integration requirements including HR data model consultation, management of employee data requests and trouble shooting of data issues encountered by internal and external third party applications
  • Leads systems administration and data management activities including  systems maintenance, data maintenance, table maintenance, integration monitoring, data uploads, and configuration functions for HR Technology applications
  • Acts as key liaison to the IS function including prioritization, tracking and approval of service requests
  • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on  HR applications including how to best leverage system capabilities to satisfy specific client needs
  • Evaluates, approves and administers requests for access to confidential employee information; plays lead role in HR security administration activities including devising and maintaining an effective security model

Project Management:

  • Manages large, complex HR Technology projects throughout the project lifecycle including delivery of project plans, estimates, management presentations, user communications, IS coordination and project team supervision
  • Performs Business Requirements Analysis and composes clear, comprehensive Functional Specifications that are usable by our IS counterparts to enable new capabilities
  • Plans and executes User Acceptance Testing to ensure quality implementations
  • Develops clear user documentation including Job Aides, Operational Guides, Online Content, etc.
  • Assesses client information needs and develops HR Reports using Report Writing Tools Management of outside HR Technology vendors and service providers  including planning and execution of upgrades, new releases  enhancements and system fixes

  • Proficiency using MS Office applications including MS Access and MS Excel Database, report-writing and data analysis experience
  • Project management skills, knowledge and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field
  • Relevant academic concentrations include: HR Technology, HR Management, Human Capital Management, Business Intelligence, Health Care Administration, Information Systems
  • Masters Degree in Business Administration or Information Technology preferred
  • 6 to 10 years of experience working in an Human Resources or Information Technology
