Job Description

Location: St. Louis, MO

Type: Permanent

Non-negotiable requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of related experience and 1-2 years of business solutions experience with high complexity, multiple large application business processes.
  • Experience in managing complex, cross-organizational technical programs.
  • Experienced in driving implementations through the entire IDLC (Infrastructure Development Life Cycle) including the introduction of new technologies into the business as well as the retirement of technologies and services.
  • A broad background in many IT disciplines (e.g. software development, operations, infrastructure).
  • Full understanding of how an IT Service Management works within a complex IT shop.
  • Expert with Project Management tools such as MS Project, MS-Office Suite.

Nice to have:

  • Previous Crowdsourcing experience a plus.
  • Healthcare industry experience is highly desired.

Position Purpose:

  • Daily lead of  innovation crowdsourcing initiative, SPARK, and the Tool owner for the software platform it operates on.
  • Daily activities range from consulting with executives/business owners around their strategic needs and formulating related innovation Questions, to leading Crowdsourcing projects from inception to picking a final winner.
  • Working with and supporting project teams in the subsidiaries with System configuration, Marketing Campaigns materials, Communication, and Reporting.
  • Additional responsibilities for maintenance of internally developed Pilot tracking and follow-up software tools and owning the vendor relationships for related software platforms.
  • Responsible for the entire implementation process
  • Drive definition of business need, responsible for overall solution design, build and test, root cause analysis, and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality
  • Responsible for identifying the need, defining and implementing improvements in the methods, standards and processes to better enable working in teams and constructing enterprise applications
  • Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives
  • Responsible for Crowdsourcing IT Tool and platform.
  • Will work closely with business leaders to set up and form successful Innovation challenges.
  • Ability to work closely with external consultants from selected vendors
  • Strong interest in Marketing and Communication for Engagement
  • Experience in product development and operational efficiency projects a plus
