Job Description

Location: Durham, NC

Duration: 6 Months

  •  Define and maintain core competencies and best practices surrounding digital analytics.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and documentation for the purposes of analytic tool implementation.
  • Perform analysis, and effectively present metrics and insights to key stakeholders.
  • Establish strong working relationships within the Digital Marketing team and across business and IS stakeholders.
  • Serve as subject matter expert to define and support enterprise digital analytics processes, tools, and technology solutions.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in digital analytics tools, technologies and best practices.
  • Develop recommendations and optimization opportunities based on analytics.
  • Develop and establish analytics data layer and tracking code end to end in various mobile and desktop development environment as per design agreed upon by digital analytics team.
  • Perform website utilization analysis using tools such as Adobe Analytics/Omniture SiteCatalyst, Tealeaf, Google Analytics and Opinionlab.
  • Ensure all web pages and related properties are correctly coded and tracked.
  • Define, measure and report on KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) for BCBSNC websites.
  • Collaborate with external partners to assist with data collection and reporting.
  • Foster a data-driven environment through collaboration with key-stakeholders and enterprise leaders.
    Required Skills:
  • Experience using Adobe Analytics/Omniture SiteCatalyst or Google Analytics to set up tracking , reporting .
  • Experience in implementation of data layers/DTM (Tag Mgr) in Adobe or equivalent analytics tools.
  • Front-end development experience is required, with JaveScript experience as must.
  • 1 year of cross-platform development is must have
  • Working experience in agile framework
    Preferable (good to have):
  • Experience building with both Android and iOS applications. Experience on Java/Swift is important.
  • Experience with source control services such as Gitlab, Github, Bitbucket.
  • Experience working with Adobe’s SDK’s for iOS and Android.
  • Bachelors degree and 5 years experience in digital analytics strategy and execution
  • In lieu of a degree, 7 years experience in digital analytics strategy and execution
  • 2 years minimum experience using Adobe Analytics/Omniture SiteCatalyst or Google Analytics to perform website analysis.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Tealeaf, Opinionlab, and/or other industry standard web analytics tools
  • 2-3 years of Front-end development experience is required, with JaveScript experience as must. In addition to Javascript, experience with SPA Application development is preferable ( Vue, Angular, React)
  • 1 year of cross-platform development is must have , with experience building with both Android and iOS applications. Experience on Java/Swift is important.
  • Experience with source control services such as Gitlab, Github, Bitbucket.
  • Experience working with Adobe’s SDK’s for iOS and Android. Note: If the candidate is a strong mobile developer, these SKD’s will be trivial to learn and deploy.
  • PC Skills to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics Ad Hoc reporting/Discover and ReportBuilder or Google Analytics
  • Experience with Cloud Computing . Experience with AWS, Azure or other cloud based web services.
  • Experience working with Adobe’s SDK’s for iOS and Android.
  • Experience with Content management systems such as Drupal, Django.
  • Experience with source control services such as Gitlab, Github, Bitbucket.
  • Experience working in Agile team environment is highly preferred.
  • Power user of Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Bachelors degree with course work in computer science, business, finance, health administration or public health, engineering or technical/quantitative field
  • Familiarity with health care industry is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to interpret and present quantitative data.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary. Excellent presentation skills.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Proven ability to manage own work and meet deadlines.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent projects, demonstrate initiative and work independently
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply technical specifications
  • Ability to work with both IT and Business areas.
