Job Description

Location: St. Louis, MO

Duration: 3 Months, Contract to Hire

Skill Sets:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
  • Healthcare experience a must have
  • PMI Certification or comparable experience, preferred
  • Limited exposure to Project Management, has ability to assist on small to intermediate projects
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Good Communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Limited experience with business writing

Key Capabilities:

  • Assists in daily coordination of projects including preparing and maintaining project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements
  • Tracks progress
  • Identifies obstacles
  • Assist higher level PMs with the development of communication materials for project teams
  • Performs some administrative tasks such as arranging meeting, developing agendas, and preparing progress reports

Primary Function:

  • Manage the overall coordination status reporting, financials, schedules and stability of project-oriented work efforts, ensures that project goals and objectives are met within agreed upon time, scope and resource requirements
  • Assessing skills and identifying training needs of project team
  • Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments
  • Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, testing documentation, training, “warm Handoff” and on-time delivery within budget constraints
