Responsibilities:
- Orient New Care Team Members
- Assist with requesting World Pay, credit card payment system access and insurance website log ins for verification or authorization
- Train support care team members utilizing reference manual and reference guide
- Update and Maintain materials and training plan for current EHR/PM
- Create and maintain training documents, outlines, course curricula, and handouts
- Translate workflow strategies into training documentation, procedures and/or policies
- Develop and maintain training schedules, secure training tools and coordinate class schedules based on department needs
- Ensures all Meaningful Use, HRSA/UDS and HEDIS measures are captured in the process/flow
- Update and maintain accuracy of EHR/practice management training manuals, policies and procedures
- Attends webinars, training and continuing education as needed
- Employee Development
- Schedules training sessions in groups, one-on-one, via videoconferencing or through Learning
- Management System
- Formulate teaching outlines and determine instructional methods such as individual and group training, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops
- Select or develop teaching aids such as training handbook, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works
- Conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training, etc.
- Report on progress of care team members under guidance during training periods
- Assist in audit of charts for errors and missing data
- Preform Chart audits on new and existing care team members to ensure accuracy in data
- Review findings with the care team member and office manager
- Retrain as needed
- Site observation
- Observe and document any site findings
- Monitor flow tracker
- Communicate with office managers need for additional retraining
- Ensure patient confidentiality and EMR security at all times
- Maintain patient information within HIPAA guidelines
- Keep other care team members informed when situations occur that disrupts timely patient flow throughout the sites
- Consistently participates in and actively adheres to patient care expectations to attain clinical goals set forth in the Client Health Care Plans and the Quality Improvement/ Quality Assurance (QI/QA)
