Job Description

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 6 Months, Contract to Hire

Role Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Service Now Incidents/Catalog Tasks ensuring standard work is followed
  • Monitor and triage Service Now Enhancement/Feature assignment and provide guidance as needed to team
  • Continue to track on Enhancement requests
  • Triage and confirm Nova Note Review is completed
  • Ensure environment validations are completed on time
  • Lead discussions in team meetings.
  • Service Now Review
  • Project Collaboration Needs
  • Facilitate and lead TS meetings Epic and other vendors
  • Represent Team on Security, Core, CC & CAB meetings (as time permits, in addition to on-call)
  • Identify and assign resources for downtime testing
  • Prepare, attend, & co-facilitate governance meetings
  • Lead/Manage mid-sized projects/enhancements
  • Assist in project resource management
  • Ensure workflows are documented and updated
  • Ensure standard work is documented and maintained. (E.g. – on call)
  • Train and mentor new staff
  • Technical Resource to team as needed

LEAD Role Training:

  • Review and discuss responsibilities list
  • On-call schedule
  • Set schedule 2 weeks prior to expiration
  • Notify team
  • Review on-call standard of work
  • Review enhancement standard of work
  • Join triage session on Friday (change date?)
  • Review ServiceNow dashboard and how to make use of it
  • Review Eclipse: Dashboard, Resource Management, project scheduling etc.
  • Sign up for training when Bertha sends out training dates
  • Prep for Governance Meetings
  • Start attending governance meetings
  • Help prep slide deck
  • Take notes
  • Lead midsize project(s)
  • Manage/Update project on eclipse
  • Facilitate project team and sponsor meetings
  • Set and drive to plan/timeline
  • Monitor and mentor analyst work
