  • Leading the technical team(s) in defining the software and technical direction for the suite of virtual care solutions. Identifying, evaluating, and organizing the implementation of software technologies, tools, and platforms; leading the formulation of technical best practices and oversees their adoption
  • Maintaining current knowledge of the application, supporting systems and hardware environment as well as future technology trends in order to assist Digital Health and ISD leadership with IT strategy and planning. Disseminating this knowledge to management and staff to guide in application support and best practices
  • Working cross functionally with ISD and Digital Health staff to ensure the reliability of the enterprise virtual care applications
  • Providing technical direction and goal setting as well as ongoing maintenance and support for the suite of virtual care solutions. Representing ISD and Digital Health at project coordination meetings to identify tasks and resources within ISD to support project, maintenance and upgrade efforts
  • Ensuring delivery of application implementation, maintenance and upgrade services required by projects. Providing impetus to schedule and execute these duties and follows them through to completion
  • Leading upgrade and maintenance efforts that use resources from various IT and functional areas
  • Working with ISD and Digital Health managers to support the work of technical staff as it relates to the operations, maintenance and development of virtual care applications
  • Participating in group activities and contributes to discussions with the whole IT team. Works with other team leaders to foster cooperation, collaboration, and communication to facilitate consensus and accomplish tasks
  • Maintaining relationships with ISD, Digital Health and Virtual Care senior leadership, as well as the user community to understand business requirements and goals and assists in identifying and prioritizing system maintenance efforts to support business objectives
  • Providing backup 24/7 support when necessary
