Job Description

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 6 Months

Qualifications:

  • Architecture, design, and deployment of multi-site enterprise Citrix solution – XenServer, XenApp/XenDesktop, Provisioning Services, StoreFront, Delivery Controllers
  • Integrate new features and requests (e.g. Single Sign-on, Content redirection, device integration, multi-factor authentication)
  • Support and troubleshoot environment (including after-hours support)
  • Deployment and configuration of XenServer hypervisor
  • Deploy, configure, and update Provisioning Services (PVS), including setup for highly available TFTP and PXE
  • Deploy and configure NetScaler Gateway for secure resource access by external users
  • Configure access policies and troubleshoot connectivity issues

Epic:

  • Setup and configure multi-site, load balanced applications as part of Epic’s Web and Service Server tier
  • Responsible for the following applications – Epic Print Service, Web Blob Service, Interconnect, Hyperspace, System Pulse, Hyperspace Web
  • Responsible for underlying infrastructure of all Epic Windows infrastructure
  • Maintenance and monitoring of system health
  • Integration with other Epic components and third party applications such as Imprivata Single Sign-on, Chartmaxx, and Entrust two-factor authentication
  • Configure access and integration with external organizations and vendors – SureScripts for e-Prescribing, ZocDoc for appointment scheduling, MedAction Plan for patient medication management – as well as providing entry points into the EHR for homegrown application development
  • Act as lead during Epic version upgrades for applications noted above
  • Coordinate closely with analysts and Cache DBAs for updates, upgrades, and other system changes
  • Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues

Citrix NetScaler:

  • Design and configure multi-site NetScaler deployment for both DMZ and internal applications using GSLB and HA NetScaler Pairs
  • Write custom application-based policies for load balancing and monitoring
  • Configure complex rules for routing application traffic
  • Configure IP routing, SSL, Content switching, App Firewall
  • Configure NetScaler Gateway for secure remote access of Citrix published resources with advanced multi-factor authentication based on traffic source and Active Directory membership
  • Troubleshoot traffic and network issues related to load balanced applications

Citrix XenMobile:

  • Deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of XenMobile infrastructure

General Infrastructure:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Cisco UCS blade chassis
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain HP blade chassis
  • Responsible for setup of both HP and Cisco platforms for use in virtual and physical environments
  • Configuring web services for secure communication (protocol/cipher lockdown, IP filtering, proxy configuration)
  • Develop scripts (VBScript, PowerShell, C#) to automate repeated tasks and provide for less technical users’ self-serviceability.
  • Capacity planning and review for all Citrix and Epic subsystem components

  • CCEA or MCSE certifications required.
  • Advanced Citrix certifications with current products preferred.
